Generators of the fire extinguishing aerosol “ТОР 3000” with the end efflux of aerosol is used in the composition of ship systems of aerosol fire extinguishing (AOT) and is designed for extinguishing in conditionally hermetic volumes of fires and tans.
As part of ship systems (AOT), the control and signaling unit (BUS AOT 1 and BUS AOT 2) provides control and start of the generator.

1.2. The generator has a climatic version. About products of categories 1; 1.1; 2; 2.1 in accordance with GOST 15150-69 and is designed for operation in the temperature range from minus 60 ° C to plus 50 ° C. Limiting operating temperatures from minus 70 ° C to plus 60 ° C. Mechanical design group according to GOST 17516.1-90 – M 25; M 30.

GOST 27331-87 extinguishing foci of the following classes is produced: 
A1 – combustion of solids, accompanied by decay;
A2 – combustion of solids, not accompanied by smoldering;
В – burning of liquid substances;
And also for extinguishing electrical installations and electrical equipment, which are under voltage up to 140 kV.

Primary area of ​​application:

Ship rooms for which the classification and numbering of points are given in accordance with Section 1.5 of Part VI of the RS Rules:
Management posts for clause 1.5.1.2, except for ships made of fiberglass, specified in clause 2.1.1.12 of Part VI of the RS Rules;
Machinery spaces of category A, hangars and premises in which equipment for refueling and servicing helicopters are located, except for ships of fiberglass, specified in clause 2.1.1.12 of Part VI of the Regulations of the RS and premises for the carriage of dangerous goods of Class 1, except 1.4S. Machine rooms without a constant watch, in which rowing electric motors or steam engines or steam turbines with a power of at least 375 kW are located.
Production facilities under item 1.5.8.1;
Separator rooms, etc. rooms specified in 4.2.7 of Part VII “Mechanical installations”
Excluding rooms where flammable gases and vapors of liquids with a flashpoint below 60 ° C are possible.
