ASOTP “Igla-M.5K-T”
The automatic fire detection and extinguishing system “Igla-M.5K-T” is designed for automatic detection and extinguishing of fires on subway cars.
The beginning of installation for the rolling stock of the Moscow Metro in the period from 2003 to the present day. The system is equipped with modifications of cars 81-717 / 714, series “E”, 81-740 / 741 (Rusich) and the experimental composition of the wagons of the series 81-760 / 761.
The peculiarity of this system is the use as a means of extinguishing the powder fire extinguishing modules of MPP “Buran-0.5” and MPP “Buran-0.3” in a metal casing with an electrical start.
On each car there are fire-dangerous compartments. The compartments are equipped with fire alarm sensors and fire extinguishing agents. Sensors and extinguishing means via communication lines are connected to the address local control unit (LBK), which monitors the fire situation and the state of the equipment in the compartment. One LBK unit can control one or two compartments.
LBK units are connected by wire communication lines to the intermediate central control unit (BCRC), which in turn is connected to a dedicated train line to exchange information about the state of the system between the cars of the train. Block ПЦБК in case of occurrence of a fire danger situation produces a signal for switching off the equipment on the car.
In the driver’s cabs, the head cars of the train contain the central control and indication units (CBKS). The CBKI unit is designed for issuing address information messages about the status of the system on the composition, management of the system and storage of the event archive in the system.
The system is powered by the onboard network of the car in the range from 45 to 95 V.
